Emma Ready is Scotland’s only professional bgirl with over 27 years of experience in the global breaking scene. From battling and judging international competitions to teaching and mentoring, Emma is a powerhouse of knowledge, skill and authenticity. Based in Glasgow, she offers group and 1:1 breakdance classes for all levels, both in person and through her workshop downloads, making the art of breaking accessible, empowering and rooted in hip hop culture.

As well as being a dedicated teacher, Emma Ready is an expert choreographer available for theatre, stage and screen. Her creative work fuses raw breaking foundations with storytelling, making her a sought-after collaborator for projects that need bold, dynamic movement.

Whether you want to learn how to breakdance, improve your technique or bring powerful choreography to your production, Emma brings passion, professionalism and a deep connection to the culture in everything she does.
